Norwegian Gem Transatlantic Cruise
NCL Cruise

Suggestion: On this westbound cruise, passengers get an extra bonus: an added hour of sleep most nights of the cruise (those headed eastbound, alternately, lose an hour most nights) because clocks are moved back five hours throughout the journey.

Suggestion: If you book a balcony cabin, you may want to opt for the side of the ship facing south for more sun (port going westbound, starboard headed east). Fares shown are in U.S. dollars and are per person, based on double occupancy.
Suggestion: Consider upgrading your cabin category for a trip during which you'll spend more time at sea than not; there's nothing more claustrophobic than a tiny, dark cabin when you're spending a lot of time onboard. And conversely there's nothing lovelier than a suite, with indulgent bath and a spacious balcony, as a place in which to retreat. As well, the low-key pace means there's plenty of time for downtime -- long tub soaks, reading novels on the balcony.

Our newest treasure. When it comes to Freestyle Cruising, something new is definitely a good thing. Introducing Norwegian Gem. This brand new ship will offer all the things you love about NCL - all the restaurants, the bars and lounges, plus the complete disregard for watches and alarm clocks. It's the latest in the Jewel class family of ships; and you'll find yourself wondering what to do next, nap, bowl a few games, get a good workout or ...whatever. With a few sea days you should be able to try every menu option, have at least three massages, enjoy the entertainment and even squeeze in an educational lecture or cooking class during your voyage.

Curious about the ship you'll be cruising on? Learn more about what you can do onboard.
